Company Profile:

Since it's establishment in 1920, Takasago's flavours and fragrances have helped to make people's lives more enjoyable with "Contribution to Society based on Technology" as our corporate philosophy. Cutting edge research has helped us advance from Japan's first manufacturer of aroma chemicals to one of the world's top flavour and fragrance companies, with global operations in more than 30 countries.

In the arena of technological development, our technology-based spirit has guided us since our foundation and has led to the successful realisation of asymmetric synthesis technology on an industrial basis. Foremost among our products that utilise this technology are I-Mentol, the aroma chemical in highest demand, and 4-Acetoxy Azetidinone (4-AA) which is attracting attention as carbapenen group intermediate for next generation antibiotics.

We pledge to continue our global efforts to contribute to a peaceful, more affluent society through flavours, fragrances, aroma chemicals and fine chemicals.
